HARLEY DAVIDSON STALL AT THE AUTO EXPO 2012


The Harley Davidson stall was probably the most lively one at the Auto Expo 2012. Starting off with a rock performance that definitely brought in the crowds before the launch and with the presence of hog members, Harley definitely knew how to please. Harley Davidson announced an expansion of their Indian portfolio to 15 models.
Two new CKD (Complete Knock Down ) models were unveiled, namely the FX DC Super Glide priced at 11.5 lakh and the Dyna Street Bob priced at 9.5 lakh. Apart from the new models also present was custom painted versions of their existing models.

Harley-Davidson FXDC Super Glide Custom
The Harley-Davidson FXDC Super Glide Custom, a powerful custom-styled bike with eye-catching chrome detail, will retail at Rs.11.5 lakh only as against Rs. 15.45 lakh last year.


Harley-Davidson FXDB Street Bob
The Harley-Davidson FXDB Street Bob, a tough Big-Twin with classic bobber style, will be available to riding enthusiasts at just Rs. 9.95 lakh as against the earlier Rs. 13.95 lakh.



At the Auto Expo Harley-Davidson India also unveiled five breathtaking customized bikes.


The bikes started as stock models from the current India line-up and have been transformed through customization with Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories


Each motorcycle featured several dynamic changes to the factory original, including upgraded hand grips, foot pegs, handlebars, seats, fuel tanks, derby covers and fenders


As the year progresses, Harley-Davidson India plans to expand its dealership footprint to three other cities - Kolkata, Kochi and Jaipur


Members of the Delhi Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) chapter made their presence known at the Harley-Davidson stall at Auto Expo, riding into the venue grounds as a group and joining the event armored in leather.
