Most Indian cities are prone to extremely crowded streets generally restricted access and to ride the legendary bullet used by Police forces in India through these narrow lanes makes the job even tougher . That is why nowadays we see Police forces equipped with Bajaj Pulsar in metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Delhi .The use of Royal Enfield's Bullet by Police forces have come down in recent times due to its heavy construction and high maintenance .
Recently we saw this image surfacing on Kollam Facebook Page and it is getting a lot of response from bikers. In this image you can see that Kollam City Police Department is using which Karizma R bikes. Karizma fans would be delighted to see this picture.Four white Karizma R bikes in the first batch have been inducted as a trial cum service run for this special squad of Kollam police.
In recent times crime record in local areas have gone up and mostly the road that leads to local areas is narrow and crowded , Pulsar and Karizma are convenient in terms of speeding and handling with ease. A bullet is a bit tricky at times with its traditional engine and heavy weight.
This new move by City Police Department of Kollam definitely does not rule out the possibility of Police forces using higher displacement Sports Bikes in the near future but only riding these bikes won't help , they should work on their fitness as well .
