In the Delhi Auto Expo 2012 held at New Delhi, India. BMW Motorrad showcased the newest motorcycles generation, the R1200GS and GS S1000RR.
This proves the seriousness of BMW Motorrad in issuing a motorcycle with engine capacity of 1000 cc for the Indian motorcycle market in 2012, particularly with meluncurnya latest generation of S1000RR. As for the R1200 GS, remain in a class above 1000 cc.
BMW GS S1000RR
For the S1000 RR is equipped with engine capacity of 999cc off energy that can power 194 hp at 13,000 RPM and maximum torque of 112 Nm at 10,250 RPM. This motor is mated to a six-speed transmission and an optional transmission tantai drive with electronic traction control.
BMW R 1200GS
As for BMW R1200 GS was prepared for the consumer who loves adventure. This is a dual sport bike and equipped with 1170 cc 2-cylinder engine and boxer engine. Motor with eight valves can produce power 109 hp at 7750 rpm and torque of 120 Nm at 6000 RPM.
This motor is also equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox transmission system is much more subtle than previously generation. R1200 GS is the best-selling motorcycle in the history of BMW Motorrad stand. Sales each year is always dominated the third.
