2012 KTM DUKE 200 DELIVERIES HAVE STARTED IN MUMBAI, PUNE, BANGALORE AND DELHI!


Bajaj-KTM have started delivering the vehicles to the early bird customers, much before than that anticipated by the customers and even promised by the company officials.

Deliveries of the KTM Duke 200 have just begun across major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune, with the first owners of the Duke 200 riding off with their steeds. The Duke 200 will soon head to other countries in South East Asia and Latin America.


Earlier, Bajaj Auto Limited has launched the KTM Duke 200 in India at an introductory price of INR 1,17,500, ex-showroom Delhi. This terrific pricing, albeit an introductory one has Bajaj and value-for-money written all over it.The KTM Duke 200, assembled at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant is a motorcycle designed and developed by both Bajaj Auto and an Austrian motorcycle brand, KTM, a firm in which Bajaj holds a 40% stake in. The KTM Duke 200 will also be launched in other developing countries like Malaysia and Brazil very soon.

The Italian two-wheeler major Piaggio has launched its Superbike, Aprilia RSV4, the ultimate racing machine at the recently concluded Delhi Auto Expo 2012. Aprilia, a part of the Piaggio Group since 2004, is globally acknowledged as the most technologically advanced name in motorcycles.

Ducati Monster 795 Now Available for 5.99 Lakhs – Price Drop by 1 Lakh



The wait is finally over. The Ducati Monster 795 can be yours for Rs 5.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The Monster 795 was officially launched at the 2012 Auto Expo by Mirko Bordiga, Ducati Asia Pacific CEO and Ashish Chordia Ducati India CEO.

Earlier Ducati launched the Monster 795 for 6.99 Lakhs in the Delhi Auto Expo 2012 on 6th January. Many enthusiasts were disappointed by the steep price. Ducati was probably overwhelmed by the response they got and  decided to reduce the price of the bike by 1 lakh.

This Ducati which has been specifically developed for the Asian markets now becomes the most affordable Ducati in the Indian market.

Honda launches CBR150R at the Auto Expo 2012



The biggest surprise of the Auto Expo 2012 was the launch of the Honda CBR150R. The CBR150R has light and compact DOHC engine which produces a peak power of 18PS at 10,500rpm and peak torque of 12.6Nm at 7500rpm. The bike has a twin tubular frame which increases stability. The engine is liquid cooled and has fuel injection. The bike will have front and rear disc brakes, mono-suspension and wide front and rear tubeless tyres. It also has an advance O2 sensor and air inductor to reduce the emissions.

2012 Auto Expo - Hero Motocorp unveils 3 new models

India’s Hero MotoCorp, which recently separated from Japan’s Honda, has announced the launch of two motorcycles and a scooter, a scooter 110cc Maestro, the 110cc Passion X Pro and the 125cc Ignitor. All three models have been launched under the new Hero brand name.

Auto Expo 2012 Preview

The theme for 2012 Delhi Auto Expo is ‘Mobility for all’. This edition of the expo will see around 50 new launches which includes both two and four wheelers.


With just a few days to go before the 11th edition of the 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo, here is a sneak peek into what two-wheeler manufactures have in store. The exhibition will have many two-wheeler makers introducing their products and other concept vehicles.

India has the world’s second largest market for two-wheelers. More than 1,500 companies from 24 countries will be joining the country at Delhi Auto Expo beginning from 7th January, 2012. Many new launches and showcases are expected at the mega show, including 9 new two-wheelers.
