‘O2 PURSUIT’ THE BIKE THAT RUNS ON COMPRESSED AIR

In the world of ICE (internal combustion engines) and E motorcycles (electric engines) there was a small space left for compressed-air-powered ones. Dean Bensread, design student at Australia’s RMIT decided to “pursue” this idea by producing a full scale prototype motorcycle propelled by the air from scuba diving tanks – meet the O2 Pursuit. Basic idea is bizarrely simple – take one Yamaha WR250R bike, strip all the engine and electric parts, make some room for the scuba diving tank, mount the DiPietro air engine and off you go.

But there’s an immediate question of “why haven’t somebody try this already”?

Why Do I Ride..??

Soul Searching the reason for "Riding" the Motorcycle..

  • Being one with nature
  • Like the feel of wind in my hair
  • Gives a sense of freedom
These are some of the esoteric cliches that I often hear when someone is quizzed "Why do you ride..??" To me, the above reasons actually sound more like..

  • Being one with nature..
"Get Wet when it rains, Sweat when it's Hot & Freeze when it's Cold."
  • Like the feel of wind in my hair..
"You are not wearing a Helmet."
  • Gives a sense of freedom..
"From depending on Public Transport to get you places."
