BMW Motorrad has unveiled the HP4 where HP4 stands for perfectly controllable power and sporty perfection, this is the lightest sportsbike in the 1000cc category. This 4-cylinder machine can produce power output of 193 hp and the best thing about the bike is that it just weighs 199 kilos including the ABS setup and 90 % fuel. It is based on the same platform as that of the BMW S 1000 RR
The bike is scheduled to be launched in 2012 and is a continuation of BMW Motorrad’s HP model series where HP stands for high performance. This bike showcases outstanding agility, power and riding dynamics. In short it is a complete power house featuring the best in class technologies.
The main highlight of the BMW HP4 is its super tuned 4 –cylinder engine which provides an output of 193 hp at 13,000 rpm and 112 Nm of torque when at 9,750 rpm
