Highlights of the all new 2012 TVS Apache Series RTR.


Recently we had notified you guys about the launch of an all new Apache RTR and some spy shots of the beast but there is much more then what appears in those spy shots , some of the features in the 2012 TVS Apache Series RTR can be read below

New Instrument cluster :


The sleek and lean digital instrument console is another highlight of the all-new 2012 TVS Apache Series RTR. The styling of the console mirrors the chiselled look of the redesigned bodywork. The combination of matte with glossy black, and the new LCD panel create a bold new style statement. The entire console fits snugly into the headlamp fairing, with the legendary RTR shield at the bottom to bring the console design full-circle.

New Spurs :


Now you might be thinking what are spurs , they are nothing but a short spike or spiked wheel that attaches to the heel of a rider's boot .The all-new 2012 TVS Apache Series RTR features an all-new split footrest design, on the lines of international motorcycling standards. The rider footrest gets a sporty heel protector. The best part? The legendary Apache ergonomics remain untouched, even after a radical redesign



Intuitive Design




The comprehensive redesign of the vehicle also includes the new switchgear. With improved ergonomics and intricate detailing, the switch cluster has a premium feel, and is rider-friendly.o

The list of changes in the 2012 TVS Apache RTR 160 can be summarised as follows :
  • New headlamp with pilot lamps and front fairing.
  • Carbon fiber insert on the fuel tank.
  • New fuel tank scoops.
  • New set of graphics.
  • Carbon fiber insert around the instrumentation console.
  • New all-metal footpegs for the pillion.
  • New pillion footpeg mounts.
  • Redesigned side panels.
  • New leg guard design.
  • Redesigned seat.
  • New rear mudguard.
  • Redesigned saree guard.
There are still more updates to come on the TVS Apache Series RTR before its official announcement on 23rd April 2012 .
