Royal Enfield heads to Philippines



Known for its craggy and rough looks with powerful performance, the idealistic motorcycle Royal Enfield is speculating to extend its boundaries to Philippines. It is reported that Royal Enfield made its entry in Philippines market from Roadhouse Manila Bay where it unveiled its first 500cc touring bike in the market along with its other three more siblings which include Royal Enfield Bullet in Battle Green color, the Royal Enfield Classic Chrome and Royal Enfield Bullet Electra Deluxe. Technically all these motorcycles carry some common features adorned in them which include Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), a toolbox on the right hand side and gas filled shock absorbers. Various parts integrated in these variants of Royal Enfield for instance aluminum castings, side panels, chrome gas tank are manually painted and designed.



Expressing his views on coming up of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Philippines, Mr. Jimmy Barinaga, President and CEO, Royal Enfield, Philippines, said that the company is speculating to dominate the motorcycle market in Philippines and intends to establish as strong identity. According to him bike riders in Philippines have waited for long time to ride this bike which is available at reasonable price and carries glorious history behind it. Mr. Barinaga also added that company do not wants to meet only the needs of rough bike riders but also wishes to meet the demands of growing bike riders within the age group of 23 to 30 years. The origin of Royal Enfield can be tracked back to 1893 when it started its operation as British Company designing bikes to act as commuting vehicle for British soldiers and still it carries its royal history.
