Bajaj Pulsar 150 Vs Hero Motocorp CBZ Xtreme - Comparing the best 150cc bike.

Selecting a bike in 150cc range is a problem for many riders as there are several bikes available in the range and its tough to decide which bike would be better for you. We are taking into consideration two bikes from top two brands in India Hero Moto Corp and Bajaj Auto Limited. Its quite clear than in 150cc range no other bike sells like a Pulsar. Many people don’t consider buying a Pulsar 150 saying its too common but why its common? Just because its the best Value for Money once could get and thus it sells like a hot cake even when new 150cc bikes keep coming. Here you would see few technical details which might help you buy your new 150cc bike.

One of the main reasons to buy a 150cc bike for many bikes is to get a little bit more power and good mileage too. Now, both CBZ and Pulsar are of same engine capacity i.e. 150cc but in terms of Power, Pulsar is ahead producing 14.9Bhp while the CBZ manages to do only 14.2 Bhp. Both are having four stroke air cooled engines . Another important thing is mileage, CBZ Xtreme being a Hero Moto product is not able to give good mileage as the Bajaj Pulsar 150. CBZ give a mileage around 35 to 40 in city while in Pulsar you get 45 to 50 in city easily. In highway, CBZ gives a mileage of around 45 to 50 while Pulsar manages to give more than 55 Kmpl easily. We have been reported that several owners of the new CBZ are getting only 30 to 35 Kmpl from the bike.

CBZ Xtreme weighs 5 Kg more than the Pulsar 150. The new CBZ launched has dual discs while the Pulsar is currently having single front disc. Electric setup in the CBZ is not full DC and thus you get no good lighting at night while the Pulsar comes with full DC setup which provides good light even at night. The best thing in the Pulsar is the quality of plastics being used for switches and in other parts of bike. While in CBZ switches and few other plastic parts look too cheap. Top speed of both bikes are around 120Kmph.

Totally disagree!!
do u know son??u dont have practical experience about these bykes..
1 st i would like to tell u ride both bykes after that tell ur review ..
in short i will say

"pulsar nowhere stand nearby CBZ in any thing like body design parts and mileage so dont misguide the buyers "

CBZ is CBZ brand from hero honda from last 30 years..
and bajaj is only baja who enters in bykes from last few years...

I think Sujeet is wrong,on the grounds of looks CBZ can be a better option but if we talk about power and pick up,Bajaj Pulsar 150cc is a best option.
