Honda CRF250L On/Off road bike to be launched in India .

It seems that on-road/off-road bikes are slowly grabbing momentum in the Indian market .
Do we blame the government for the amazing roads that we have which gives us the off-road pleasure everytime we venture out??
After the successful release of the Impulse by Hero Motocorp , now its Honda's turn to feature in this category .

HONDA'S main new production bike to debut at next month's Tokyo Show is this, the CRF 150L
With this new launch , this emerging segment will really open up and give the customers some options too choose from .
The only drawback in hero Motocorp's Impulse was the lack of power , which will now be definitely fulfilled by the 250cc powered CRF 250L.

About the specifications of the CRF 250L ,a liquid-cooled 250cc 4-stroke DOHC  single cylinder powers the CRF250L which is the same engine that is equipped in the CBR 250R but it has been tuned according to the off-road requirements . The engine makes a good 23 PS of max power @ 8500 RPM and 22 NM of max torque @ 7000 RPM, and  mated with 6 speed gearbox which gives a fuel efficiency figure of 44.3 km/l at a constant speed of 60km/hr.

The company claims a kerb weight of just over 315 pounds, about 50 pounds more than the 230L but still lighter than the CBR250.The enduro/motocross styling traits are evident in the tank shrouds, side covers and the rear fender. With seat clearance at 34.4 inches, the CRF250L perch rests almost four inches higher than both the CBR250 and CRF230L.Honda CRF 250L Dual Sport incorporates upside-down suspensions on the front and while swing-arm pro-Link type suspension does the job at rear.

The Honda CRF250L Dual Sport comes with a slogan ‘New On & Off Gear, your right buddy on the road’ to make ‘On’ (daily life) more convenient and ‘Off’ (weekends) more enjoyable.
It would be priced not less than INR 1.3 lakhs , the bike will be launched by Honda in the Indian market by 2013.

Honda has also released a drawing to show what a few bolt-on bits and a flash paint job could do to transform the new machine into something a bit more eye-catching.

ECU remap by Kiirus Autosports for Kawasaki Ninja 250R priced at INR 20,000.

Recently we had notified you  about Kiirus Autosports coming up with an ECU Remap option for the KTM Duke 200 .Kiirus Autosports is the first company with ECU remap option for the newly launched KTM Duke 200 . We have a good news for Kawasaki Ninja 250R owners as well , yes you guessed it right !!
Kiirus Autosports , the ace tuning company is about to offer ECU Remap for the Kawasaki Ninja 250R .
The Ninja 250R's particular ergonomics, chassis design, and engine placement have resulted in a motorcycle that straddles the standard and sport classes.

Kiirus for Speed in Estonian is the first Software Programming company which offers complete Auto programming solutions for new generation vehicles that are controlled by ECU (engine control unit).Remapping or Programming the existing chip in Kawasaki Ninja 250R will give dramatic improvements in performance and economy .

The ECU Remap option was received well among the KTM Duke 200 owners since they got a medium though Kiirus to get the real juice out of their machines since  the rev limiter which usually kicks in at 10,500 rpm in stock form was increased upto 11,700 rpm at each of the six gears which is 1,200 revs higher than what the motorcycle does in stock form . This 1,200 rpm over rev  resulted in the Duke 200 managing top speed  of about 150 Kmph or even more. We expect a similar sought of a boost in performance for the Kawasaki Ninja 250R as well .

Kawasaki  Ninja 250R is the among the top rated motorcycle when you talk about quarter litre bikes , its performance , handling and looks are spot on . People in India always tend to ask the same question , that why is Ninja 250R costly ?
For all those people , Ninja is imported from Thailand as a completely Knocked Down unit and then assembled in Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant . Anyway, moving on to the Ninja 250R remap solution by Kiirus AutoSports, the remap is said to boost power of the Ninja 250R to upto 36 Bhp.
WOW !! Thats hell of a lot of Power ...

The guys at Kiirus have analysed the Ninja 250R's engine and found out that the engine featured in India is different than the engines in the European market due to various norms laid by the Indian Government on the manufacturing of vehicles . Apart from the boost in power,  Ninja 250R will benefit from a higher rev limit than the stock motorcycle’s limit . Kawasaki Ninja 250R already has great top end , this option is especially for those who are hungry for more power and want to get past any bike in their segment in a flash  . Kiirus Autosports have performed this ECU remap on few of the Ninja 250R in Mizoram and found out to be working well .

This ECU Remap will  increase the top end of the bike by nearly 10-15 Kmph , currently the top speed claimed by Kawasaki is 176 Kmph .Also it solves the problem of engine overheating in slow moving traffic .
With this Remapping , you might also get an increase in mileage by 10-15 % .
The overall cost of this ECU Remap option is about INR 20,000 .
So what are you waiting for ??

Bajaj Auto makes changes in the upcoming Pulsar 200 NS

Bajaj Auto finally unveiled their all new motorcycle, 2012 Pulsar in India on 30th January and recently there were speculations  that some of the Bajaj Auto dealers had started taking bookings at INR 5000 .
But recently we have been notified by one of our readers Pranay  that Booking of 200 NS has been delayed to end of April.

Another breaking news coming from the sidelines is Bajaj Auto is busy making changes to production Version of Pulsar 200 NS .

The list of changes include :
  • Bajaj Auto is  ironing out small issues and improving the quality of the bike.
  • The company is making improvements to the production version as prototypes showcased earlier had small niggles.
  • Bajaj Auto will be giving the Pulsar 200 NS a more powerful headlight. The prototype had a 35 watt bulb, but the production version will have a 55 watt bulb.
  • Bajaj Auto has also made changes to the rear mudguard, which will now have a matte black treatment, instead of the glossy finish we have seen on the concept version.
  • The instrument cluster lights will receive some changes too, for improved visibility in the day.
  • The bike will be offered with MRF and TVS tyres and the company is expected to give an option to the buyer to chose his preferred make
About the technical aspects ,Pulsar 200 NS engine will have 3 sparks - Triple Spark Ignition System instead of the traditional twin - spark system which are seen in the current Pulsar motorcycles. Pulsar 200 NS is powered by a 199.5 cc engine that will generate a maximum power of 23 bhp @ 9,500 rpm and will deliver a maximum torque of 18.3 Nm at 8,000 rpm.

Dry weight of new Pulsar 200 NS is 145 kgs. Bajaj new Pulsar 200 NS will have a top speed of 136 kmph, making it one of the fastest motorcycle made by Indian manufacturer. Bajaj new Pulsar 200 NS will be able to accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 3.8 seconds while it will take just 9.8 seconds to cross 0-100 kmph mark. Apart from these exceptional figures, Pulsar 200 NS delivers a mileage of 58 kmpl when driven at a constant speed 55 kmph.

It has been really heartening to see that even hardcore "Pulsar" haters couldn't stop themselves from praising the new Pulsar. It should probably see light of day in April end and that the price will be under Rs 1 lakh , lets see how it fares in the Indian market .
And mind you we are the first one in media – to burst out this news.

New Honda CBR150R vs Yamaha YZF-R15 V2.0 : Game On.

Honda surprised us in a very sweet way, when it unveiled the CBR150R at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo.
Honda has definitely upped its ante in the 150cc segment and this bike will go in head to head competition with the currently popular Yamaha R15. Yamaha launched the latest version of the R15 last year, called R15 Version 2.0. Here we quickly take a look at how does both these bikes feature and would the CBR150R really give a tough time to the R15 Version 2.0.

Technical Specifications :
Honda's new CBR150R comes with a Twin Tube frame construction Diamond, while the Yamaha YZF-R15 Version 2.0 brings the delta box.

Honda's new CBR150R machine type carries CS150RE, Liquid-Cooled, 4-Step, DOHC, single-cylinder 149.4 cc, and the diameter measures 63.5 x 47.2 times. 11,0:1 compression ratio engine. Machines capable of burst power up to 17.55 hp at 10,500 rpm engine speed and maximum torque of 12.66 Nm at 8500 rpm. Supply of power and torque output is channeled to the rear wheels through a 6-speed transmission.

Honda's new CBR150R supported tank capacity 13.1 liters of fuel supply and injection system (PGFM-FI). Rival Yamaha YZF-R15 V2.0 given ammunition type Liquid-cooled engine, 4-Step, SOHC, single cylinder 149.8 cc, and the diameter measures 57 x 58.7 times. 10,4:1 compression ratio engine. Machines capable of burst power up to 16.76 hp at 8500 rpm engine speed and maximum torque of 15 Nm at 7500 rpm. Supply of power and torque output is channeled to the rear wheels through a 6-speed transmission.
Yamaha YZF-R15 V2.0 supported tank capacity 12 liters of fuel supply and injection system.

From the technical data is visible if on paper, Yamaha YZF-R15 will excel at the lower and middle engine speed. This is not apart from the character-type SOHC engine and under square (57 x 58.7), which incidentally makes more pull evenly from under the engine rev up the middle. It is also seen from the torque output of the Yamaha YZF-R15 V2.0 that is superior to 15 Nm at a lower engine speed 7500 rpm . Thus from these technical statistics we can say that ,
Power is a bit more in the CBR150R but when it comes to torque Yamaha R15 wins with 15Nm at 7,500rpm while CBR150R manages only 12.66Nm at 8,500rpm.

There is little difference in weight of both bikes with CBR150R weighing 138Kgs and R15 weighing 136Kgs. Ground clearance is bit more in CBR150R with 190mm while in R15 its 160mm only. Another important factor is the rear seat in R15 which is not suitable for long rides specially in India while the one on CBR150R is nice with grab rails.

Bikoholic verdict :

To measure the functional as an urban vehicle with a level of congestion and traffic flow "stop and go" high, it seems Yamha YZF-R15 V2.0 is more fitting as an option. Besides the issue of a lower purchase price, at least there is an excess of this Yamaha lineup, the posture is more petite. Although for the affairs of a little less maneuverable than its rivals.

While the new Honda CBR150R with posture and weight are a bit more gambot more fitting as a lifestyle vehicle or night life, where traffic is not too dense. Thus the rider can feel a powerful performance in a lap top. Or as an option as a vehicle short and medium distance touring. Sensation on the new Honda CBR150R will be more valued for the winding road full of bends or straight line that takes a long pull. Moreover, the support device front brakes are superior to its rivals.

So now the question now arises is whether CBR150R  better than the R15. Yamaha fans disagree that no 150cc Indian bike is a threat to Yamaha r15 due to its aggressive & beautiful styling with colorful side fairing & also the fact that Yamaha launched new colors for R15 version 2.0 at the Auto Expo 2012.

Talking about the Mileage and Top Speed of these two beasts , both the bikes deliver around 35 to 40Kmpl depending upon how you ride or maintain it and top speed around 135Kmph. But one factor in which Yamaha R15 V2.0 scores is its pricing ,there is difference of INR 10,000 in price of both bikes. Yamaha R15 costs around Rs.1.7L ex-showroom while Honda CBR150R is almost Rs.10,000 costly and the cost is Rs.1.16L ex-showroom
The game in the 150cc segment has just got more interesting !

Now is your turn to determine dreams and needs between the two ...

ECU Remap for KTM Duke 200 by Kiirus Autosports drops by INR 2000 .

Recently we had notified you  about Kiirus Autosports coming up with an ECU Remap option for the KTM Duke 200 . Kiirus Autosports is the first company with ECU remap option for the newly launched KTM Duke 200 , this news was well received among the KTM Duke owners and guess what owing to this overwhelming response  Kiirus will now offer the remap solution for the KTM Duke 200 at a price of INR 10,000, down by INR 2,000 from the earlier price of INR 12,000 .

Kiirus for Speed in Estonian is the first Software Programming company in that offers complete Auto programming solutions for new generation vehicles that are controlled by ECU (engine control unit).Remapping or Programming the existing chip in KTM Duke 200 gives dramatic improvements in performance and economy.

The rev limiter which usually kicks in at 10,500 rpm in stock form is increased upto 11,700 rpm at each of the six gears which is 1,200 revs higher than what the motorcycle does in stock form . This 1,200 rpm over rev will result in the Duke 200 managing top speed  of about 148 Kph ,with proper gear shifts we cant rule out the possibility of even clocking above 150 Kph

Apart from the outstanding increase in the top speed  , Kiirus Autosports  also claim that the flashing of the ECU with a new map  results in softer idle and less stress on the engine. People have already got this done on their Duke 200, which has resulted in a 10% increase in mileage too.

Kiirus Autosports is run by Abhishek Mukherjee in Mumbai
Abhishek Mukherjee, the owner of Kiirus AutoSports can be contacted on +91-9594060920 or through email: info(at)kiirus(dot)in.

They are based around Mumbai  and will need your ECU for 4-5  hours to complete the job, which if you are in Mumbai can be done by visiting them, while people staying away can ship over their ECU’s and Kiirus will ship back their ECU's the same day . Don't forget to get yourself registered as there could be limited entries available .

Though Kiirus have mentioned increase in performance and top speed , as every coin has two sides there are some risks considering this remap solution as well . The most important of them all is the risk of voiding your bike warranty . Not only this , an increased revv-limit will also result in more wear and tear of the engine. Basically revv limit has been put for the longevity of the engine by Bajaj Auto . While we don’t doubt the claims of Kiirus, we will wait till a dyno reading is revealed to show the actual gains with this ECU remap ,
and mind you we are the first one in media – to burst out this news .

2012 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 Review plus some more Details inside.

Royal Enfield’s solitary launch for 2012 will be the Thunderbird 500, a motorcycle that wowed show goers at the Indian Auto Expo by literally being the showstopper at the Royal Enfield pavilion.

The Thunderbird 500 has been perhaps one of the most anticipated offering from the Royal Enfield stable considering that the Thunderbird 350 has been doing yeoman service for the last ten years. The Thunderbird has built for itself a reputation of being a comfortable touring motorcycle and is often the first choice amongst the Royal Enfield models for touring enthusiasts. The Thunderbird has earned itself the reputation of a capable highway tourer and established itself firmly in the cruiser market. The Thunderbird broke away from the mould of Royal Enfield’s traditional motorcycles and redefined a new lineup. In that direction, the new Thunderbird has come as fresh motorcycle.

Royal Enfield is nothing short of a phenomenon in countries where it’s standing out since the past many generations that have passed. Thunderbird is undoubtedly the most stylish and performance oriented addition to the lineup. The bike is the attractive mix of both retro as well as modern concepts in styling and technology both. The bike falls under the cruiser segment and this time the rider could be sure of more comfortable ergonomics and refiner power coming after that throttle roll.

Design & Styling :

The ‘black’ engine is one of the first styling elements that catch your attention the moment you see the motorcycle. The seat has been completely redesigned to suit the new foot pegs position. The handle bar too has received changes for better reach and ergonomics. The seat now opens using a lock mechanism, accessible through the side panel.

The instrumentation also includes two digital trip meters, allowing riders to keep a track of total trip mileage as well as intermediate mileage between tankfuls. The speed and engine rpm are shown via tastefully designed analogue clocks, housed in all new twin pods at the front.

Engine and Transmission :

The engine is 499 cc 4 stroke, single cylinder version that could make a 27.2 bhp power output through an electronic fuel injection system and delivers a prodigious peak torque of 41.3 Nm torque in the chamber. The bike is said to be featured with Classic’s 500cc UCE engine with EFI. The engine is mated to a five speed gearbox and uses maintenance free hydraulic tappets.

What's new in the Thunderbird 500 ?

The bike comes up with features like digital twin pod LCD console to make tracking speeds smoother in the night and low light conditions.
The saddle height has been reduced to enhance the stability and overall comfort during those long trails with no one else but you under the sun. The front wheel is a 19” spoke rim which has the sturdy grip of 41mm forks to hold them to their place.
The headlight has also got a projection type headlamp of 55/55 W H7 Bulb that could illuminate the roads much brighter than you could imagine. The rear wheel has also been given a 240 mm Disc brake to help it reach a halt in time.

Top Speed
The Thunderbird 500cc could get a maximum of 130 km/h on the road.

Dimensions
The length of the bike is 2120.00 mm, width is 750.00 mm and the height 1080.00 mm.

Shades Available
The color of the bike is only going to be in contours of black like Midnight, Matte and Arctic Winter Black.

Price and availability
Actual sales of the vehicle may begin only near mid 2012. It comes with a price tag ranging between Rs 1,40,000 to 1,90,000  for the Indian buyers.

RE Thunderbird 500 high points at a Glance :
  • Matte black finished engine
  • Seat has been completely redesigned to suit the new foot pegs position.
  • Separately mounted pillion seat can be removed to accommodate luggage.
  • Bungee hooks are provided to strap up that extra luggage during those long rides.
  • The most noticeable is the tail lamp which is LED, unlike the earlier round shaped tail lamp. We found this to be a little out of sync with the design of the bike.
  • The trip meter is now digital and a projector lamp is provided for low beam along with a halogen lamp for high beam.
  • Rear Disc Brake
With increasing demand from several locations across the country, Royal Enfield has also embarked on widening its reach and improving after sales services . In addition to production and dealer ramp up, the company is also charting to launch its Thunderbird 500 motorcycle, which was showcased at the Auto Expo, in May or June. With this, it hopes to strengthen the brand position further in leisure motorcycling in the country.

2012 KTM Duke 200 - Ride Review

KTM Sportmotorcycle AG is an Austrian motorcycle, bicycle and moped manufacturer.
KTM is most commonly known for its off road motorcycles though in recent years it has expanded into street motorcycle production . They are the acknowledged world leaders for off-road motorcycles, and have made a habit of dominating off-road motorsports events. Indian giant Bajaj’s stake in this European firm has steadily climbed to a hefty 39 percent, which makes it high time we ride our first KTM.

The single-cylinder 125 Duke is a street bike jointly developed by KTM with Bajaj and already introduced in select European markets. It’s taken no time to charge into the lead and become a segment leader there, while Indians have patiently stood by waiting for a 200cc variant of the same bike to be specially prepared for our market. The eagerly anticipated KTM 200 Duke will be backed by the sales and service might of Bajaj Probiking. It boasts remarkably potent specifications, which is why we couldn’t wait to get behind the handlebars and tell you how it all comes together as a package.

The bike looks sporty, feels sporty, and don’t go by the 200cc engine, because this monster is expected to generate 25 Bhp of maximum power which is much higher than the normal 200cc commuter bikes which deliver 15 to 17 Bhp power.

The new KTM Duke 200 is very distinctive and attractive sports bike which carries lots of attitude with it. The advanced aerodynamic design used in the new KTM Duke 200 is extraordinary and has a great charismatic effect which spells bounds the costumer with its unmatched appearance and racer look.
The new bike is specially designed for the racer with dynamic body graphics which is very impressive. The front portion of the bike has only cowl which has stylish halogen headlight in it which is very well stacked and looks very elegant. The straight handle bars of the new bike KTM Duke 200 is also very sporty and also very comfortable, specially designed for racing purpose. The stylish turn indicators are placed beneath the front cowl and looks very stylish and unadulterated. And the riding saddle is roomy and well padded, although the same can’t be said for the compromised pillion seat. Split alloy grab bars lead to a slender tail lamp, behind which extends a lengthy mudguard and number plate holder. The revolutionary and stylish large and bold alloy wheels of the new KTM Duke 200 will enhance the style and looks. The rear portion of the bike is also very impressive with sweeping style side indicators. The rear tyre-hugger and saree guard are parts we feel the 200 Duke would look best without, but you can’t help but marvel at the sleek, clear-lens turn signal indicators on this spanking new motorcycle. A ‘stand down’ warning system is standard.

The distinctive center console comprises of fuel gauge, speedometer, trip meter, turn indicator signal, etc. The stylish and unmatched fuel tank of the new KTM Duke 200 is also very appealing and has a feel of racer bike in it. The foot pegs available in the bike are very stylish and tuck in neatly when unused.
Overall quality, as well as the turnout of rubber and plastic parts is as good, as expected on the KTM 200 Duke.

You couldn’t ask for a more tech-rich engine on an Indian motorcycle. The new KTM deploys a short-stroke, four-stroke and single-cylinder, 199.5cc powerplant with 72mm bore and 49mm stroke measurements. State-of-the-art specs with no-compromise engineering ensure you receive the works; fuel injection, liquid cooling, a twin-camshaft-driven quartet of valves and a bantamweight, compact, six-speed gearbox.

The riding position is upright, comfortable and good for daily use with the wide handlebars providing excellent leverage. Ride quality is good, pliant and still firm enough to enable sporty handling, but our ride was too brief and only over smooth surfaces, so a final verdict must again remain reserved for our road test. The KTM 200 Duke handles with a light, nimble feel, always steering with neutral manners and the MRF radial front and rear tyres provide terrific grip. This is a stable bike at all speeds, with superb cornering manners and brakes which always offer a powerful and reassuring bite.

We expect the KTM 200 Duke to return close to 25-30kpl for every litre of fuel. Bajaj is offering a variety of KTM merchandise as optional with this bike, including a pair of tasteful knuckle guards.

Also to mention is the KTM Duke 200's lap timing . The KTM  Duke 200's 0-60 kmph time is 3.3 sec while its 0-100 kmph time is 9.2 seconds , which is quite impressive .

New Kawasaki Ninja 150RR Released

Recently we had reported about a lime green bike which was spied in Indonesia  and claimed to be Kawasaki Ninja 150RR. Well, good news is that Kawasaki has officially announced that they'll be launching the 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 150RR . Bad news, however, is that it is a two-stroke engine, and we know that selling new two-strokes in India is banned, which means no Kawasaki Ninja 150RR for India
Ninja 150 is one of the best motorcycles to roll out of Kawasaki's factories, and this bike was born with many rivals such as Honda NSR and Suzuki FXR .If Kawasaki would have come up with a 4 stroke engine a stage would have been setup where we could see Yamaha’s R15, Honda CBR150R and Kawasaki Ninja 150R facing head on competition. Though Indians won't be able to lay their hands on this machine, this bike is intended for the Asian market. It is going to launch in March in Indonesia .The engine makes 30BHP of power from just 148cc, which makes it a lethal machine. The bike will be launched worldwide, yet countries which allow 2 stroke machines to be sold only will get the machine.

By design, it looks totally different. Of the fairing, the tank until the new tail design. Front-rear lights are made like his brother, the Ninja 250R but it certainly made smaller dimensions. Likewise with fairing shape is more rigid lines. Separate rear seat can be directly installed cover single seater.
New Kawasaki Ninja 150 RR also applies AHO(Automatic Front lights On), still analog speedometer and latest model rear disc brake

KTM Duke 200's Rev Limiter , Key Code Card , Mileage,Top Speed plus some more details revealed!

The KTM Duke 200 is the first of many KTM’s that will come to India via the 40% Bajaj connection.A few media outlets were invited by Bajaj Auto to spend some quality time with the Duke 200 and give thier feedback . No doubt it is an outstanding performer but there was a small disappointment, Bajaj had introduced a rev limiter in the KTM Duke 200 which kicks in at 10,000 RPM. This restricts the speed at a mere 126  km/h which won’t be liked by the motorcycle enthusiasts.Bajaj Auto seems to have addressed the problem somewhat and increased the limit from 10,000 to 10,500 RPM thus taking the top speed to about 138 km/h (on the speedometer).

When you hit 10,500 rpm, the rev limiter cuts in quite sharply; so sharply that riding at full throttle, even in 6th gear is impossible as the ECU keeps killing the power when the bike touches 138 kmph. They bike definitely can go way faster. At a constant 137 kmph though, everything is fine and you can keep cruising. Increase the speed by just another 1 kmph and engine seems to be stuck deciding between delivering full power & delivering no power. That’s how sharp the cut off is.. In case you won’t be satisfied with the speed, you have to wait for sometime as we have news of people working on removing the rev limit altogether.

All KTM Duke 200s which are being delivered to the first customers across the nation have had their rev limiter raised by 500 rpm to 10,500 rpm. So, the top speed of the Duke is now 138 Kph on the digital speedometer it comes with. with an average speedo error of about 5%, the Duke 200 effectively does a true 130 Kph, which is no means a slow speed. Even so, speed hungry folks will have to resort to after market piggy back ECUs or remaps to get past the rev limiter on the Duke 200 or go in for a sprocket change to improve the true top speed by 5-10 Kph. According to the on-board computer, we obtained mileage figures between 21 & 34 kmpl depending on the riding conditions and speeds. Expect no more than 22-23kmpl if you ride around the city mostly in the first 4 gears. On the highway, we obtained a decent 34kmpl while cruising in 6th.

  • Bajaj is offering a 2 years/30,000 kilometer warranty on the Duke 200 with free service intervals at 1,000 Kms, 5,000 Kms and 10,000 Kms.
  • For the first 1,000 kilometers, the Duke 200′s revs will be limited to 7,500 rpm as a measure for good running in of the engine.
  • This limit will be raised to 10,500 rpm post 1,000 kilometers.
  •  Service interval for the Duke 200 is 5,000 Kms.

A surprise touch on the Duke 200 is the key chain that it comes with. The key chain (known as the Key Code Card) is a smart card which contains all your service information and you can get your bike serviced from any location in the world, yes, in the world. All you need to do is swipe this card to retrieve your motorcycle's service data . By this new innovative idea there's no need to carry the service booklet for your general services and warranty claims.

KTM 200 Duke is a special motorcycle, just as comfortable puttering around town as a zippy commuter bike or being thrashed while you attack your favorite section of twisty tarmac. KTM and Bajaj have certainly found a sweet spot, as the Indo-Austrian KTM 200 Duke has all the trappings of quickly becoming a best-in-class 200cc street motorcycle. All in all, the KTM Duke 200 brings a lot of refreshing features, many of which are segment firsts and mates it to a high performance-high value package .Deliveries of this motorcycle have already begun and you can head to your nearest KTM store to test ride the Duke 200.
